Volunteers from the parent body and from the community are crucial to creating Hilltown's special multi-generational, cooperative environment. In addition to parents, our volunteers include students from nearby colleges, local artists, professionals and senior citizens.

Volunteers assist in classrooms, offer specialized mini-courses, serve on governance and events committees and take on practical tasks around the school. (see list below)

Hilltown students also volunteer in the local community, offering benefit performances, participating in the Adopt-a-Highway program and in a Community Service Learning project making intergenerational connections with a nearby long-term care facility.
